Drift Hypergrowth 2019:Quick List Of Restaurants To Try In Boston

Our team has done the extremely hard work of compiling a quick list of our favorite Boston restaurants to ensure you don’t miss out on the best food Boston has to offer during the HYPERGROWTH conference this year.

Below are our top four restaurants picks. We’ve also included the walking distance of each from The Wang Theatre. 🚶‍♀️

bartaco – seaport | boston

3.0 miles from The Wang Theatre

Status: 2019-08-30 15.33

We loves tacos and we know good tacos are hard to find in Boston. If you need to get your taco fix our team suggests bartaco. Located in the Seaport District their menu has something for everyone.

We suggest you start your meal off with plantains, a guac + salsa starter and a ranch water (topo chico, fresh lime juice, tequila, served over ice in a glass with a salted rim). Next add some yummy tacos to your order. Our favorites (in no particular order) are the portobello taco, the pork carnitas taco, the glazed pork-belly taco, and the rock shrimp taco.

If you’re looking for something other than a taco then try the kale + apple + goat cheese with or without grilled chicken.

For dessert go for the churros. You can thank us later.

Max and Leo’s – fenway | boston

2.5 miles from The Wang Theatre

Status: 2019-08-30 15.35

While tacos may be our first love pizza is definitely a close second. Our favorite pizza spot in Boston is Max and Leo’s. Located close to Fenway, it is an awesome place to stop if you’re taking in a Red Sox game (although the food is worth the trip even if you’re not going to a game).

Start with their arugula salad. It is drool worthy and is large enough to share.

Next order your artisan pie. You can’t go wrong with the Dante or Steve’s Old Fashioned.

Not feeling like pizza? Try their drool worthy coal fired nachos. They are out of this world.

Max and Leo’s carries all the best local beer. We usually go with whatever local IPA they have on tap.

North Street Grill – north end | boston

2.4 miles from The Wang Theatre

Status: 2019-08-30 15.35

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we happen to agree. Our team takes breakfast very seriously. This leads to our next recommendation the North Street Grill.

This place is packed at breakfast so get there early or be prepared to wait. They run the place like a well oiled machine but the sheer number of people can make for extended wait times (20+ minutes).

Their french toast, burrito pancake and eggs benedict are our teams faves. Their omelettes are also tasty and can be completely customized.

For you breakfast sides pick the fresh fruit and home fries.

The Q Restaurant – chinatown | boston

0.2 miles from The Wang Theatre

Status: 2019-08-30 15.37

Have you always wanted to try a Mongolian Hot Pot? Then The Q Restaurant is the place for you! This is a great place to experience with your entire team.

We love the chow mein and tangerine chicken. Don’t forget to get a couple of steamed buns.

If you’re a sushi eater than you will love their menu. The seafood is fresh and oh so tasty.

If there is a wait make yourself comfortable at the bar and pick a drink from their extensive cocktail menu. The bartenders tend to be pretty heavy handed. We suggest you try the Shanghai Mule.

If you’re intimidated by the ordering process don’t hesitate to ask you server for help and/or recommendations. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to assist.
